This massage ranges in light to medium pressure and incorporates warm towels, comfy pillows and swedish massage techniques. A soothing massage will be given to our mom to be, some while lying face up and some while in a sidelying position. Extra attention may be given to the neck, hips, low back and feet during this session and pregnacy safe essential oils may be used as well.After 39 weeks, acupressure points that assist with labor and delivery can be applied. These meridian points can be used the days before and during active labor to help release our natural hormones oxytocin and prolactin for a more comfortable natural delivery. Intended to assist with edema, combat fatigue and promote overall relaxation.Remember. a healthy lifestyle, diet, and hydration are all key during pregnancy and especially after having a Therapeutic massage. Working closely with your physician and/or midwife during pregnancy is best for the health of you and your baby to be.

This treatment begins with 30 minutes of soothing and relaxing Therapeutic Massage. We will start out with a dry body brush which boosts lymphatic function and stimulates and warms the skin in preparation for a sweet sugar "scrub" exfoliant. For this, brisk movements are used to not only apply but to invigorate the fresh dermal layers with a blend of uplifting citrus essential oils and sugar. After removing the excess with comforting hot towels, you will robe and slipper over to the shower.***please note your Therapist will contact you to secure a $100 non refundable deposit to confirm reservation of this treatment. (Deposit is forfeited If you need to cancel or modify your massage within 48 hours of your Appointment time but is applied to the cost of the service)***

First you'll have a 1 hour massage with smooth heated river stones to ease the tense muscles.Then we will apply the skin mask and wrap the body with several layers, to further warm and relax the muscle tissue.
